Duties: Postition required a highly organized and motivated individual with excellent communication skills to work with participating school districts in coordinating school disctrict efforts to utilizes energy efficiently and economically, Typical work activities will include overseeing and monitering school district energy management programs, conducting energy assessments of school facilities, coordinating efforts with school operational changes, conduction staff development and training for school employees and cpprdinating public information programs on district energy conservation. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Building and Grounds with incumbent being expected to independetly perform most duties, referring on difficult or unusual problems to the supervisor. The incumbent will perform all related dutied as required.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 4 years of experience in the evaluation, administration and/or supervision of an energy effectiveness program; OR Associated Degree AND a minimum of 6 years of experience in the evaluation, administration and/or supervision of an energy effectiveness program; OR Graduation from High School or possession of a GED AND a minimum of 8 years of experience in the evaluation, administration and/or supervision of an energy effectiveness program OR any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined within the limits above.
Candidates must demonstrate a good working knowledge of energy conservation methods and of building systems and equipment. Candidates must also have a good understanding of statistical and budgeting procedures and be able to prepare clear, accurate and comprehensive reports. Good puublic speaking and communication skills are also a must.
