Job Description
The WEBSTER CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a proven educational leader who is committed to developing a climate of excellence for students, faculty and the community. The individual must possess strong oral/written communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Curriculum Supervisor is directly responsible to the Directors of SecondarylElementary Education. The Curriculum Supervisor evaluates programs in his/her curriculum area and makes recommendations to the administration and Board of Education. The Curriculum Supervisor is charged with the supervision, coordination, development and evaluation of personnel and of the district-wide curriculum in his/her curriculum area within the guidelines established by the Directors of SecondarylElementary Education.
NATURE OF THE POSITION:
The Curriculum Supervisor is a full-time, l2-month administrator who will collaborate with the Directors of SecondarylElementary Education and Cabinets with the coordination and direction of the district's instructional program in hislher curriculum area. The Curriculum Supervisor will work cooperatively with secondary principals, elementary principals and lead teachers regarding matters related to his/her curriculum area. This position requires a broad understanding of curriculum development, program eyaluation, staff evaluation/supervision and a thorough knowledge ofthe trends and theories of curriculum development and assessment.
Job Qualifications

../' Administrative experience preferred .
../' Hold, or be eligible for, New York State certification as a School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS) or School District Administrator (SDA) and have successful teaching experience .
../' Demonstrate a collaborative leadership style and a firm commitment to working with teacher leadership and other supervisors .
../' Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills .
../' Possess knowledge and skill in implementing evaluation procedures for programs and personnel.
../' Demonstrate unquestionable integrity and a firm belief in the worth and potential of all students .
../' Possess strong knowledge in the English Language Arts, Reading and Literacy areas.
Salary
Competitive, based on experience, and as per current Agreement with Webster Educational Leadership Association.
