Position: Schlegel Road Elementary School Principal
The Webster Central School District is seeking a proven leader who is committed to developing a climate of excellence for students, faculty and the community. The individual must possess strong oral/written communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities.
Job Qualifications
Among exemplary personal and professional qualities, the candidate should:
- Hold, or be eligible for, New York State certification as a School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) and have successful teaching experience at the elementary school level.
- Demonstrate a collaborative leadership style and a firm commitment to utilizing internal resources of faculty and staff.
- Highly skilled in building management strategies, including delegation, time management and effective office systems.
- Have a firm belief in, and the ability to maintain consistent and developmentally appropriate approached for elementary school discipline.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to budget and provide the resources for a quality school.
- Possess knowledge and skill in implementing evaluation procedures for programs and personnel.
