Market and Financial Analyst
In this key role with the Government Services Consulting Division you will be responsible for developing financial models, analyzing financial statements, developing financial estimates, undertaking industry and market research, undertaking operational reviews, developing recommendations and presentations and writing reports for public agencies which have hospitality and recreation visitor based assets. You will work closely with a small team, some members of which are based in remote locations. The position will be based in the Northern Boston Metro Area.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and up to 3+ years of consulting or related experience. Recent graduates with strong internship experience will also be considered. Educational background and/or work experience in the hospitality and/or recreation industry is desirable. Strong financial modeling, analytical and writing skills, as well as demonstrated ability to think creatively while paying close attention to detail required. Must be able to identify, collect, process and organize large amounts of information and data – which may be limited or incomplete - and should have experience working collaboratively with others in teams of 2-4 people. An appreciation of the funding, operational and policy environment of federal agencies and desire to balance financial sustainability with conservation and sustainable use of their assets will be an asset to our organization. The candidate will have opportunities to assist with marketing and business development. Ability to travel up to 25 to 30% of the time. High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required and experience with MS Visio and Publisher are beneficial.
