Job Description
People & Systems is assisting the foundation at a large association with their search for a National Director of Development.
Leading a small development staff at this VERY stable association, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a strong Executive Director and active board to manage a broad-based fund raising program including capital drives, annual fund, planned giving, foundation and corporate giving, national team fundraising, donor relations, research and special events.
Job Qualifications
The unique position requires 5+ years of fundraising experience coupled with proven success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies across both institutional and diverse individual giving areas. Staff management experience and exemplary ability to conceptualize and articulate (verbally and in writing) an organization's message and mission to increase participation are a must. Candidates without fundraising experience WILL NOT be considered.
