Job Description
The Analyst will be an integral part of a team of investment professionals managing over $1 billion in private equity investments in agricultural real estate for the HAIG. The Analyst will be responsible for four main areas: asset management, operational underwriting and analysis, internal auditing and compliance.
Job Qualifications
The position requires a solid understanding of accounting, finance and information systems. An interest in agriculture, and general knowledge of alternative asset classes and the investment management industry are a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills are key qualities. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in analytical thinking and a willingness to take ownership of and expand project-oriented work with limited oversight and information. The candidate must be a self starter, but comfortable sharing projects and working with multiple business areas. An undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or agriculture is required. A willingness to travel is also required.
