General Responsibilities
Cornell Cooperative Extension Livingston County (Mt. Morris) is searching for a full time Nutrition Resource Educator. The person is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating direct and specialized community education in the nutrition, health and consumer education field is the primary role of this position. As a team member, contributes leadership, educational resource support and input into program evaluation, grants/contracts, marketing, program supervision and program development. This position provides leadership for the implementation of Food and Nutrition Education in Communities programs for low income audiences (50% of the position), coaching, supporting and enabling educators and providing subject matter of resources that connect Cornell faculty and regional and state efforts to local priorities; represents the association as a resource educator for nutrition, health and consumer education. Also be a participating member of the western region nutrition team and supports regional training and in-service efforts. This person works collaboratively with a variety of community agencies to address community health issues.

Job Qualifications
Master's degree with subject-matter specialization in Nutrition and Health required; RD or CDN desirable. Two years related experience desired. Experience in community nutrition and health education highly desirable.
