Job Description
Lakeside Farms Associates has a need to add to their existing farm staff. They are looking for a qualified candidate in the capacity of Farm & Marketing (Sales) Manager for their farms and farm products. LFA owns and operates several large established farms in Dutchess and Columbia Counties in New York and is always looking to acquire additional farms to grow the sales and distribution of assortment of farm and farm animal products.
LFA is a growing company that raises Black Angus cattle, Hampshire and Dorset sheep for meat products. Also grow fields of alfalfa and Timothy hay as well as a large assortment of nursery stock, hardwood and evergreen trees, and vegetables. They also have a limited supply of apple wood which is offered for smoking and barbeques.
Job Qualifications
Applicants for the position must enjoy sales and marketing, be a self-starter interested in developing a strong business base with our successful team. The successful candidate is required to be experienced and possess an agricultural education. There is an excellent opportunity for growth within the organization, and we are always open to new ideas, products and initiatives.
