Job Description
The Laberge Group is actively looking for a senior planning professional to join our dynamic and growing company. Laberge Group is a New York State based full service municipal consulting firm with offices in Albany and Marcy. We work closely with the municipal staff, elected and appointed officials, business leaders, and civic leaders. Our staff includes an array of distinguished and experienced certified urban, regional, environmental, and land use planners, as well as landscape architects, engineers and architects.
The firm seeks a creative individual who is comfortable providing support and leadership services to our staff and clients. Broad experience desired including comprehensive planning, zoning code analysis, economic analysis, site and subdivision plan review, brownfield revitalization analysis, and environmental review compliance. Successful candidates will be responsible for facilitating public meetings/hearings, preparing community documents, and managing project budgets and schedules.
Job Qualifications
BA/BS degree or higher is required in urban planning, geography, or a closely related field. A minimum of five (5) years experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a leadership/supervisory capacity is required.
Excellent writing, research, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, time management, and computer skills are required along with the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively in a team framework.
