Job Description
Responsible for carrying out office activities and functions pertaining to a broad variety of FSA Commodity Programs utilizing current computer web based software with the following programs specifically assigned: Direct and Counter-Cyclical Payment Program, Farm Records - Reconstitutions. Some GIS/GPS compliance and field work may be required.
Works in a service center environment with shared responsibilities for customer service eligibility making and receiving payments. Other programs may be assigned depending on experience and need.
Job Qualifications
Must possess a year of general work experience that shows your ability to perform progressively more complex, responsible, or difficult duties; and that shows your ability to learn the specific work of this job.
Must be a U.S. citizen and high school graduate.
The following are minimum requirements for the possible grade levels of this position:
CO-4: One year of general experience relating to office work or equal background in the operations of a farm or ranch or 2 years of qualifying education above high school.
CO-5 and above: One year of experience directly related to the functions of the position or equivalent office experience in a related activity at the next lower grade level or four years of qualifying education above high school.
