Job Description
- Aid in irrigation system design for farming operation
- Construct rainwater harvesting systems, borehole, river water irrigation and water sanitation
- Ensure that projects include local stakeholders and develop staff and student capacity for long term sustainability
- Work closely with farm manager, field coordinator, agronomy and animal husbandry fellows to coordinate irrigation systems with farming operations.
Job Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate:
- BS in environmental engineering or related field
- Experience working or volunteering in developing countries
- A background in agriculture or a good understanding of farming operations
- Waste management experience
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Experience in management and an entrepreneurial spirit
