Job Description

• Aid in irrigation system design for farming operation
• Construct rainwater harvesting systems, borehole, river water irrigation and water sanitation
• Ensure that projects include local stakeholders and develop staff and student capacity for long term sustainability
• Work closely with farm manager, field coordinator, agronomy and animal husbandry fellows to coordinate irrigation systems with farming operations.

Job Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

• BS in environmental engineering or related field
• Experience working or volunteering in developing countries
• A background in agriculture or a good understanding of farming operations
• Waste management experience
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Experience in management and an entrepreneurial spirit
