Job Description

• Aid in crop system design and management as well as irrigation
• Instruct and manage staff in cultivation of various vegetable and grain crops
• Work with Animal Husbandry Fellows to incorporate pasture rotation with crop management
• Aid in designing the agriculture curriculum
• Teach classes and workshops in basic agricultural practices as well as techniques in permaculture
• Conduct soil analysis and environmental impact assessments

Job Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate:

• BS in agronomy or international agricultural or related fields
• Experience working or volunteering in developing countries
• A background in agronomy and sustainable agriculture
• Experience in management and an entrepreneurial spirit
