Job Description

Participate and be an integral part of the design, establishment and maintenance of field investigations of the livestock research programs at the Northern Agricultural Research Center (NARC). Manage farm/ranch units and provide specific management unique to livestock and animals involved in scientific research protocols. Coordinate and supervise livestock-related research and educational activities. Coordinate, collect, and summarize data generated for livestock-related research projects at NARC.

Job Qualifications

• MS degree in Animal Science
• Demonstrated competence in computer skills (Microsoft office suite, ration balancing software, database use, IP protocols, network services, etc.)
• Experience with experimental design and statistics and statistical software.
• Ability to handle livestock with Low Stress handling techniques and understanding of University animal care research protocols.
