Job Description
Administrator will lead the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture's Division of Food Safety. The Division has 186 employees and an annual budget of $16.5 million.
Duties include:
- Ensure high quality and safety of food supply by working with Wisconsin producers & processors.
- Maintain effective relationships with federal agencies, local government, and businesses.
- Serve as key player in working with government entities and industry in designing and implementing regulatory changes.
Job Qualifications
- BS degree in Food Safety, Food Science, or related field.
- Strong program administration background, including assessment and evaluation.
- Ability to lead diverse groups of people.
- Knowledge of and ability to manage a large program budget.
