Job Qualifications
On or before the date of filing your application, you must have a bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 30 semester credit hours in the biological sciences. Only for Examination No. 20-813, Biologist Trainee 1 (Marine), the 30 semester credit hours can include coursework in oceanography and marine technology in addition to coursework in the biological sciences. These 30 semester credit hours must include 18 specialized semester credit hours.
