Job Description
Vanguard High School is a small progressive high school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Vanguard is housed in the Julia Richman Educational Complex -- a learning laboratory which serves as a collection of innovative small school communities.
The successful candidate will:
- Be skilled with an innovative science pedagogy
- Be an active team member with faculty and be able to establish solid relationships with students.
- Be open to teaching different types of classes, including advisory.
- Be dedicated to progressive, constructivist methodologies in education.
Job Qualifications
Have experience in and understanding of performance-based assessments and be willing to implement performance-based assessments as part of the curriculum.
