Job Description
Responsible for planning, directing and administering Atkins Quality Programs, which includes the establishment, implementation and maintenance of Atkins Quality Systems (QS) Policies, Monitoring Programs, Gathering Statistical Data, and the Evaluation of In-House Programs. Also the individual will perform internal and external audits to assure that ANI products, facilities, distribution centers, and third party manufacturers (TPMs) comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. Will participate in qualifying TPMs for the production of new products, testing and tracking products through the ANI supply chain.
Job Qualifications
- BS Food Science, Microbiology, or closely related scientific field
- 10 plus years of quality experience with 3 plus years of managerial experience.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems as it related to Food Safety (GMP's, HACCP, sanitation, pest control, recall, microbiology, thermal processing, allergen controls, QMS, and calibration programs)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
