Job Description
The Arnold Arboretum seeks 2 Horticultural Technologists to perform a wide variety of duties associated with the overall operation of the Living Collections of the Arnold Arboretum including; lawn maintenance, pruning, fertilization, transplanting, irrigation, and propagation. Will monitor and identify pests and diseases, maintain appropriate computerized records, order parts and supplies, assist and facilitate researchers and professionals in their work and research.
Job Qualifications
BS or Associates Degree in arboriculture, horticulture, or related field. A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of horticulture.
- Must be able to perform strenuous manual labor, including frequent lifting/transporting of heavy loads up to 50lbs.
