Job Description
$13 billion hedge fund firm seeking a full-time professional in the Investor Relations Department. Position is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their knowledge about the alternative investment industry, specifically with regard to client servicing, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities include:
- communicate confidential information to clients verbally and in writing;
- liaise with all departments of the Firm, including senior executives and partners;
- produce and/or oversee production of various investor correspondences, reports and statements;
- maintain client information in custom database system;
- prepare certain analysis and reporting for internal management team.
Will work at the Firm's headquarters in Harrison, NY (located in Westchester, near public transportation to NYC and CT).
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA Communications and/or Finance background with minimum 2 years applicable business experience.
- Mastery of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Good quantitative/analytical skills.
- Fluent communicator, skilled writer.
- Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, creative, highly motivated, team player.
- Must provide writing samples and professional references.
- Experience with databases and desktop publishing preferred.
