Job Description
Innovative fresh fruit company seeking to expand its farm production team. Industry leader in marketing local fruit products to the Metro New York marketplace has the need for a motivated individual whose passion is to grow and harvest high-quality, flavorful apples, stone fruits, and berries. 600-acre farm is located in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of New York and produces over 10 different stone fruits and berry crops and nearly 20 varieties of apples, including heirlooms . Primary responsibilities include managing planting, fruit production, harvest operations, safety and compliance, and record keeping and analysis. Position has tremendous growth potential.
Job Qualifications
Minimum experience of 4 years growing and harvesting fruit crops, be a skilled manager of multiple tasks and farm crews, thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, and be able to contribute at a high-level of corporate management. Experience with IPM, sustainable and organic practices a plus.
Salary
Salary DOE, profit sharing, 401k, health insurance, and 3 weeks paid vacation.
