Job Description
- Develop, implement, and annually evaluate the Beach Watcher marine stewardship education programs in Skagit County
- Set-up, coordinate and evaluate an annual 100-hour training program for new Beach Watcher volunteers
- Provide training update sessions and opportunities for veteran volunteers
- Surprise, coordinate and evaluate Beach Watcher volunteers and their educational and monitoring activities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field and two years of related program experience.
- Demonstrated skills in training adults
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, organize, manage, train, retain, and recognize volunteers
- Demonstrated use of interpersonal communication skills
