Job Description
Provides leadership in implementation of educational programs in 4-H Youth Development and related issues in Livingston County. Participants in regional program efforts in cooperation with other programs. Promotes awareness and develops a working rapport with government bodies, schools, agencies, and community organizations. As a team member, provides input into program evaluation, planning, implementation, marketing, program supervision and program development. Subject matter area responsibilities include programs in the areas of youth animal science that includes horses, large and small animals, horticulture, plant and soil sciences, mechanical science and natural resources.

Job Qualifications
B.S. degree with appropriate subject matter specialization plus one year related experience required. Two years of progressively responsible experience in Cooperative Extension or equivalent professional youth educational experience is desired. Course-work in agriculture, education, youth development, human development, and communications highly preferred.
