Job Description
The successful applicant will coach the livestock judging team, team teach introductory food animal sciences laboratories, team teach a course in introduction to judging, and advise students and Block and Bridle Club. The successful applicant will be expected to actively recruit students to the department and university, to collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance undergraduate and outreach programs.
Deadline to apply: April 15, 2007 or until a suitable candidate is identified.
Job Qualifications
A. M.S. degree in animal sciences or a related field is required. A strong background in livestock production systems, livestock evaluation, and the use of evaluation in livestock marketing is required. Experience coaching youth or post-secondary judging teams is preferred.
