Job Description
The communications specialist advances knowledge about sustainable agriculture in general and SARE-funded research in particular by highlighting scientific research results to farmers/ ranchers, agricultural educators and others in publications, website, press releases, etc. A major portion of the communications specialist's duties involves publication management. The communications specialist raises the issue of sustainable agriculture among key partners, such as nonprofit organizations and government agency representatives.
