Job Description

The Retail and Wholesale Nursery Manager will be responsible for managing both the 6-acre retail nursery and the 60-acre growing operation. This will include ordering, installing, and maintaining (pruning, applying pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, and fertilizers) inventory in both locations. They will also be responsible for removing mature material from the Wholesale Nursery when it is ready for sale and for aiding customers with plant and design questions and selling stock in the Retail Nursery.

Job Qualifications

Skills Required:

-Plant Identification (tree, shrub, and perennial)
-Pruning and plant maintenance knowledge
-Retail sales experience
-Customer focus
-Ability to operate nursery equipment
-Basic landscape design skills
-Basic computer skills
-Pesticide, fungicide, and herbicide knowledge/Chemical Applicator's License
Will train if necessary
