Job Description
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating a high quality 4-H youth development program in Windham County, works in conjunction with team members and volunteers and reports directly to the Head, UConn Department of Extension.
Responsibilities include coordinating the overall county 4-H program, volunteer recruitment, training, and support, supporting the work of county committees (e.g. 4-H Fair Association, Windham County 4-H Foundation), and promoting programming for diverse audiences in compliance with civil rights and diversity policies.

Job Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in education, social science, agriculture, recreation, youth programming or related fields; demonstrated skill working effectively with youths, adults, and volunteers; good communications skills. Minimum of three years professional experience working with youth development programs. Some computer skills.
Desired: Master's degree and experience in fund raising, and/or grantsmanship.
