Job Description
- Sales: Responsible for identifying leads, developing opportunities, closing commitments, and contracting agreements for professional services projects. Candidate must be able to penetrate new prospects as well as develop additional opportunities with existing clients at the highest managerial levels of the organization (C-Level, EVP, SVP)
- Marketing: Contribute to developing and executing Acumen's marketing plan for building brand awareness within our targeted communications services market.
- Targeted Experience generating new technology professional services business at Fortune 100 firms in the Life Sciences vertical
- Build and manage entire project teams for multiple engagements, scoping and delivering the projects
- Regular travel to clients and prospective clients between Philadelphia and New York

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA Preferred)
- 4+ years developing new business in a consulting environment, up to SVP/EVP/C-Level contacts
- Extensive contacts within the NYC/NJ Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry
- Strong knowledge of detailed business functional needs and current industry trends in one of the following areas: Enterprise Systems (ex. CRM), Revenue Assurance, Enterprise Infrastructure
- Proven ability to cold-call on new prospects, and build long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets of $6M+
- Ability to work with vertical industry team and horizontal offerings team to develop account penetration plans
- Strong business development capabilities in a consulting services environment; i.e. formulating project opportunities and definitions from unstructured problems, including details cost/benefit analyses
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation. Must be comfortable making presentations and facilitating discussions at trade shows, seminars, etc.
- Independent, self-starter
- Ability and interest in growing a business practice
