Job Description
Extension responsibilities will include statewide leadership for educational programs that promote sustainable forage-based livestock production systems. This individual will serve on the UW Cooperative Extension Service Profitable and Sustainable economic, social, and ecological impacts. Research responsibilities will focus on applied and exploratory studies on principal components of sustainable agriculture systems and ecosystem base-line data required to evaluate changes in SAREC's natural resource base and documentation of the effects of alternative production systems.
Job Qualifications
Experience and training in integrated crop and livestock systems research, feedlot management, high plains or intermountain agriculture is desirable.
