Job Description:
Coordinates and conducts basic and applied swine nutrition research. Assists with obtaining research samples and weighing pigs (10 to 450 lbs). Consults with faulty about laboratory analytical procedures. Sets up new procedures and maintains quality control of all procedures for an autoanalyzer, proximate analysis, and various other procedures to support nutrition and physiology research. Assembles, maintains, and repairs new and existing lab equipment. Assists with surgical data collection and attachment of ileal T-cannulas.

Job Qualifications
Required:
M.S. in Animal Science or closely related field. Strong background in biochemistry laboratory techniques
Preferred:
Vast knowledge of experimental design and metabolism collection trial techniques. Experience with management of environmentally regulated swine facilities. Experience with supervision of employees.
